Children's Minister speaks to the National Network of Parent Carer Forums

The Children and Families Minister has given a speech to a network Parent Carer Forums which discusses SEND support in schools.

He discusses the need for urgent reform and improvement of the current SEND system and references the additional £2.6 billion of new funding for SEND and AP provisions over the next 3 years. We hope that this money is used wisely and we will have to wait and see when the SEND review and proposals are published which has been promised in the first 3 months of 2022.

There will be a public consultation on the proposals so we will keep an eye out and keep you informed when the proposal is published.
