Following on from last year's amazing conference at Bolton Arena we are hoping this year will be even bigger and we listened to last year's feedback and we are going to have more workshops, more speakers and more fun!
In 2020 we will be bringing our 3rd Annual Conference to The Edge Conference Centre, Wigan. On Thursday 6th February 2020 we will be hosting a great lineup of some of the most passionate people in the industry with Guest Speakers and Workshops. That day is also Time to Talk Day so we will be encouraging you to speak about mental health both on the day and in your own setting. In addition to this we will be donating any profit made from the conference to Rethink Mental Illness and Mind who are the lead charities behind the Time to Change Social Movement.
Time to Change - Details to be confirmed but we are very excited to be welcoming Time to Change to give our Keynote speech!
Yvonne Monaghan - Head of Consultancy at NurtureUK - No doubt giving another inspiring speech about how we can support children in the classroom with nurture at the heart.
Phil Threlfall - P Threlfall Safeguarding Ltd - Former early years safeguarding consultant and local authority safeguarding lead who line managed LADO, School’s Safeguarding and Children Missing Education services.
Jean Barlow - Jean Barlow Training Solutions Ltd - Jean is a very well regarded trainer, who has spoken at many conferences around the world throughout her career as well as giving her amazing Peer Massage workshop at our conference last year.
Dr Shirley Macdonald - Becoming Mindful - A self awareness programme for parents. This is a taster session of a 9 week programme that can be either procured for your school or your staff can be trained to deliver with parents.
Jean Barlow - Peer Massage - This a shortened version of Jean's training of Peer Massage which is in mainstream curriculum in the UK, Australia and New Zealand. Jean has kindly agreed for Aspire to deliver to this training to schools so this will be a great taster session.
Aspire Behaviour Management - We will be delivering a few different workshops and are looking for your feedback on what you would like to see from Aspire. Click HERE for the survey - don't worry it's only 2 questions.
The day will start at approximately 9.00am and finish at 4.00pm. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
