At Aspire BM, we really want to aspire people who want to make a difference to the lives of children who have complex behaviour challenges, therefore our colleagues need to have a particular set of skills and a good deal of resilience.
With this in mind, we are holding a Training and Development Day on Wednesday 26th August 2020 at our Aspire Hub in Westhoughton, Bolton. This will give you an insight into the workings of Aspire BM, an understanding of how we support the needs of children with complex behaviours and a taster of some of our training sessions (which we provide to both our staff and schools). The day is also an opportunity for us to select the candidates who we would like to work with further, further training will be provided to those lucky candidates and an opportunity to work in local schools on behalf of Aspire BM Ltd as part of our Specialist Supply Team.
To become part of the Aspire Specialist Supply Team you will need:
an enhanced DBS that is live on the update service
a good understanding of child development
resilience – all behaviour is communication
flexibility with a growth mindset
consistency – kind in thought and actions
willingness to learn
If you are interested in attending, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and you will be sent further details and an itinerary of the day.
We are passionate about upskilling, especially at this difficult time during this Covid-19 pandemic. Training and qualifications are invaluable. If you know of anyone else who may be interested in this opportunity then please feel free to pass on our details and ask them to contact us directly – the more the merrier!
This opportunity is open to anyone who is currently available for supply work. However, as a Government Initiative we are able to offer a paid training package to help to upskill those that are aged 18-24 years and in receipt Universal credit the opportunity to train & develop, for those that don’t meet the criteria but are looking for professional development or to change their career pathway. Come and speak to us and we will be able to put a bespoke package together.
We are currently building a bank of staff to offer Specialist Supply Service to local schools which is an excellent opportunity for those looking to develop their skills.
