Wishing You a Positive and Inclusive New Academic Year

As we step into a new academic year, we want to take a moment to thank every school, teacher, parent, and partner who has worked with children over the last twelve months.

Together, we’ve supported children to thrive, empowered staff to feel confident in the classroom, and created more inclusive learning environments across the region.

A new year is always a natural pause — a chance to reflect on what went well, what we’ve learned, and how we can do even better for the children we serve. At Aspire, we know that creating inclusive education isn’t a one-off task. It’s an ongoing journey built on small, consistent actions that make a big difference over time.

A Simple Takeaway for this year

This year, we encourage you to choose one thing that will make a meaningful impact in your school or setting. It might be:

  • Introducing a new strategy to support children’s emotional regulation

  • Reviewing your school’s behaviour policy to ensure it’s inclusive and consistent

  • Providing staff with CPD around SEND, SEMH, or de-escalation

  • Strengthening communication between teachers, parents, and external support services

Small, focused steps are often more powerful than overwhelming initiatives. By setting a clear priority for the year, you give yourself and your team the space to do it well.

Most importantly make sure you make some new connections with children and young people in your school, nothing helps them more than having a trusted adult to talk to.

Our Commitment to You

We’re here to help make this year your most successful and inclusive year yet. Whether you need outreach support, whole-school training, or just a conversation about where to start, our team is ready to work with you.

From all of us at Aspire, thank you for the incredible work you do every day to support children. Let’s make this a year where every learner has the chance to succeed.
